By show of hands; how many of you like Italian food? Personally I’m not crazyy about it though i do admire their attention to detail when it comes to bringing out flavors. However, i find the mixture of ingredients a bit overwhelming, say a boiled egg in the middle of a pizza 😁 (yap!!)
So i was out on Saturday with a friend of mine at a mall and we decided to go for sundowners, we quickly skimmed through the restaurants within the vicinity and settled on this one. It’s so easy to see why 😍😍
When my friend went to the washroom I decided to play him and instead of getting alcoholic drinks i got us juice 😂😂 –should have seen his face when he tried it- They turned out to be pretty good! They even threw in a few bitings as we waited for our drinks to be served.
Piccazo is a beautiful and intimate place especially for family dinners and dates. The ambiance was all sorts of amazing and not forgetting the impacable service from the staff. I definitely recommend it 👌🏽Shall visit them again soon and do a menu review.
Here are a few pictures i took at Piccazo, which is located at the hub Karen.
Comment below and let me know how your weekend was . 😊
How is the second week of January going for you? Personally I’m stocked. Between early morning classes, gym and volunteer work within school i feel overwhelmed 😅 I’m just praying that time flies and i get over with this semester.
This past Sunday a friend and I decided to go watch Star Wars: Rogue One at the theater, we got there a bit late therefore had to wait for the next showtime which was in like 2 hours. To kill time we decided to chill at this cosy cafe inside the mall called Moca Loca.
The cafe has a rustic feel to it which makes it stand out. Their menu also had a good range, from pastries to breakfast dishes. I opted to try the fish fingers as it’s a light snack. They didn’t disappoint 👌🏽😊
I’ll definitely be going back to this cafe, especially after a long day at Uni 😁
Happy New year loves!! How i missed you all so much. My reading list was rather empty lol I hope that the holiday season was fantastic? Mine sure was. How did you all usher in 2017? I’d love to know. Comment below 😊🎉🎈
So 4th January was my younger sisters birthday and we decided to take her out for a simple family lunch. We went to Westgate mall (Nairobi) where we discovered the cutest noodle bar. Noodle bars are rather a new thing in Nairobi. This is the cities first Noodle bar & South East Asian ‘street food ‘ outlet …
I can never have enough of Asian food. I’ve sampled alot of Asian dishes in Nairobi but this noodle bar tops 👌🏽👌🏽I’ll definitely be going back for more
The prices range from around 3$ to 9$. They also have a Build It Yourself section where you get to choose your own base, vegetables and sauce.
Birthdays have always been special occasions in my family. My dad would go out of his way to make sure that his little girls had the best time. Our birthdays normally consisted of cake, drinks and food, and, that is a tradition that my sisters and i have carried on with 😊
I’ve had two amazing birthdays in my adult years: one which this guy i was dating (now my ex, no names 😁)went out of his way to make sure i had a blast. This years is two.
I love people who go the extra mile, because I’m one of them myself. Im shamelessly selfless and therefore get easily hurt when i encounter selfish people.
This year, this group of people that i spent my birthday with proved to me that genuine love does exist. It wasn’t about the gifts or venue, what hit home with me is the fact that they were more excited than i was 😂😁
Here are a few pictures from the day.
Ps. If you have people who stay in your life even when you have nothing to offer them, keep them!!
Hi loves!! I know its been a minute, how are y’all doing? Personally im stocked!! My birthday is literally in 4 days and I’m super excited 😀
So Sunday is my favourite day of the week because I get to bumm around and eat lots of junk lol Last sunday my fam and went to our usual joint, i mean we love this place coz it’s just cosy and the food is amazing!!
The restaurant is called Urban Eatery and their theme is presenting the all-new concept of eating out; redefining urban living in a social space that matches the pace of Nairobi’s urban lifestyle. It is located in Westlands, at Delta Corner’s PWC Tower.
Hi loves, I know that it has been foreveeeer since i last posted. I’m truly sorry for that, between exams ,becoming a Streetbees Brand Ambassador (http://www.streetbees.com/) and shooting for an upcoming local tv show, I hardly had time to blog. To make up for it, I have 3 back to back posts lined up for my loyal readers. How about that?! So keep an eye out. 😀 😀
As the title suggests, the post is just a highlight of a disappointing experience. A place filled with so much potential but did not deliver. Today I’m talking about a Japanese restaurant called Tokyo which is located on Kolloh road, Nairobi.
So we get to the place on a chilly Saturday evening and are ushered in by eager waiters and waitresses. We opted to sit outside, which is one section for dining and had a cosy fire pit going but then decided to move inside and check out the bar area. The place was like a ghost town, empty! I was shocked and disappointed. The patrons seemed bored and detached, I felt like they were just waiting to clock out and head home.
We ordered our cocktails, which thank heavens didn’t take long and left shortly afterwards. Tokyo is nothing to write home about. The only good thing about the evening were the cocktails. Let me know if you guys have ever had a similar experience before. Feel free to comment.
Ps. This post is a reflection of my own personal experience thus I’m entitled to my reviews.
